Meet Kahu O Mana Barbara U'ialoha Pa’a Petersen

Barbara U'ialoha Pa’a Petersen, RN (Registered Nurse), and CRM (Certified Reiki Master) is a Hawaiian Elemental Healing Master Practitioner (HEP), a Reiki practitioner and teacher who lives in Itasca, Illinois.

Barbara has been a Nurse for over 50 years and a student and practitioner of Energy Medicine for 27 years. Having been fascinated about her Hawaiian roots with ancestors from Maui, she has studied Hawaiian Elemental Healing for over 19 years. 

That training included several trips to Ancient Sacred Sites in Hawai'i, learning many of the Ancient Rituals and Traditions. The origins of this healing method, called Hawaiian Elemental Healing, are rooted in the ancient healing teachings of the Medical Kahuna of Hawaii. As a descendant of Hawaiians she embraces the ancient ways while honoring modern ways.

Bringing together the science of medicine, with the artistry and spirit of energy healing methods, Barbara is uniquely qualified and equipped to help guide you into the state of harmony and wellness you deserve.

Her goal is to help CREATE HARMONY in the body, mind and spirit of each person she works with.
